Specifications

The Universal Photo Timer contains an infra-red transmitter at the front of the unit. It emulates your camera's infrared shutter release remote.

The Universal Photo Timer is pre-programmed with Nikon and Cannon camera codes. The unit is also capable of learning infra-red codes from your existing camera remote.

You can extend the range of the transmitter with an IR extension cable.

If your camera does not support an infra-red remote, you can still connect the timer to your camera using a shutter release cable. We can provide you with a simple schematic for building the interface circuit. This will allow you to modify your shutter release cable so that you can take the advantage of many of the timer functions (with some limitations). Please contact us for more information.
