> Dandelion
In this example I captured dandelion seed parachutes in mid-flight.
For this picture I used the following components:
- Camera and flash.
- Universal Photo Timer.
- Bike tire pump.
- Sensor cable and some aluminum foil.
The Universal Photo Timer was used to activate the camera. I used a bike tire pump to blow air at the dandelion.
The triggering was done with two pieces of aluminum foil attached at the pump nozzle. As air blows at them, they touch each other causing a trigger event. This simple circuit was connected to the sensor input of the timer.
